Zhou graduated from the University of Westminster as a top student with a master’s degree in interpreting. The University of Westminster has signed a memorandum of understanding with the UN and is a member of the Conférence Internationale Permanente d'Instituts Universitaires de Traducteurs et Interprètes and a designated base of training interpreting professionals for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China. He is very experienced in consecutive and simultaneous interpreting and has worked as an interpreter for Assistant UN Secretary-General, Deputy Executive Director of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme, BBC, Formula One racing team, the German Foreign Ministry, the Work Committee of Central Government Department, the Permanent Mission of China to the UN Office at Geneva and the King of Spain. He has also translated and proofread documents for governments, organizations and Fortune 500 companies.
